It is for the next abstract. In meetings like this, some oral presentation slots are chosen from the outstanding abstracts that would normally be slated for posters. They pick some of the more interesting abstracts and then give them a shorter time for the presentation. However, I am very much looking forward to what Freimark says and sure hope it is better than the CTLA-4+ Bavi poster that was presented in Dec.
EBS, it is not for PPHM's presentation. PPHM has a standard 25 min slot.
The two last presentations are those [Oral Presentation from Exemplary Submitted Abstracts] and have only 10 minute slots.
Also remember that this event is in San Diego and that it is reasonable to assume that presentation time is in Pacific and therefore near end of Nasdaq AFTER HOURS. A dangerous situation for all kinds of manipulations to hit stops or to surprise short positions. And NO OPTION trading possible till next day's main session open - so no quick option hedging/protecting of the position if this takes of in either direction.
In the past PPHM has PRed presentations if they were important (e.g. Sept 7th one) and has just mentioned, and a couple of times not mentioned, neither listed on their event web-page, some activities.
I assume that is where we can see how important PPHM estimates the event to be. If they issue a reminder PR for the 30th JAN presentation then I assume they find it important (which may mean new information or new insights) and if not it could be they just see it as "spreading the word" on PS targeting.
