So what is an "NI 43-101 format"? Numbering the item headers the same way? Because the key to NI 43-101 as a law is that it is filed with, and reviewed by, Canadian securities regulators. The only reason the format for a technical report has specified numbers is to assist the regulators in their review!

The claim that it is in "NI 43-101 format" is a complete cop-out. No filing, no review, no report.

Exactly! Like I tried to tell him from my own experience NI 43-101 is a worldwide standard that is demanded from investors on all continents with deep pockets. Or JORC.
