Actually Steve discussed quality at the recent ny conference, it's on the audiocast. Quality is supposed to be higher than YouTube. One remaining glitch is that Clipstream underestimates the bandwidth on older devices and automatically reduces the quality to account for this problem. that's why you will notice that the demos include a caption that says video will play at 960p on newer devices.
