Right. Because who the hell is got the money to sue the government and have a chance but the super rich like these hedge funds? Got a f'n bulldog of a litigator too. My bets on the hedge funds. I watch and trade Fannie hoping that what is good for the hedgies preferred may be good for the common too. I have looked into the conservatorship agreement thoroughly, and although I am not a lawyer, it seems pretty common sense that the government has not attempted to do anything that has been in the best interests of Fannie, or to help bring Fannie out of conservatorship, and has unfairly commandeered all funding in which could help Fannie get out of conservatorship, thuswise making it impossible for the entity to ever get out of the conservatorship. That is why the government is going to lose. They are stealing. I hope the hedgies do not cut some back door deal with the government that only benefits preferred shareholders though.

I am with you. That first lawsuit for owners at cship inacted, I checked the attorney after tdameritrade rep said I didn't qualify because I sold puts and didn't own the shares. The attorney countered the rep by saying I was eligible. Anyone who held a position and took a loss was eligible. I owned 168500 freddie shares when it tank to .25. Sold those shares at .60 and bought Fannie for,60 a share. So I'am looking forward to the court case being settled. We were deprived of due process, shareholder rights to be informed and vote, denied use of our property, the government made the deal by the government for the government without regard to shareholfers rights. Fair compensation wasn't made. It was all illegal! I can not wait to hear gov lawyers defend all these charges.
