#22256 RE: vans #22229

I still have a little slice of apdn. This stock was the first penny stock I've ever bought, and I lucked out, sold most of my position at .29 (bought in at .07). I never had much "skin" in this game.

In the past 2 years I've read a lot about penny stocks, news letter companies (there are lots of them and they buyout each other’s email lists all the time), basically the whole pump and dump game. I just find it all really interesting. On one hand, it seems like the entire industry is a sort of legal scam to separate the dim witted from their money. On the other hand, apdn has a major investor (Crede), and has existing business with the DLA. So this company seems legit, and has some major players that want them to stick around, however I would be very skeptical of anything said on iHub and the yahoo boards. Both have reputations for ignorant (but good-hearted) discussion, and both boards are notorious for having confederates flood discussions with misleading information and opinions (because there is a lot of money not in penny stocks, but in the news letter game). Both boards are considered a joke within the Wall Street community.
Obviously, take my opinion with a grain of salt. I really do hope apdn takes off, I'd make a little money too, but I wouldn't "bet the farm" on any stock, let alone a penny stock.

Re-reading this post, I didn't intend to sound mean. I don't want to offend anyone, to each their own, and good luck to all
