IMO charting for stocks is fine for established names. Even at that the charting tutorials all say that whatever happens must be verified by volume or price movement beyond the predicted scenario.
You can wave this or that, see a cup and handle, head and shoulders etc. but by the time you confirm the pattern its on to the next pattern which needs another confirmation.
With STSI there is no hint of any news so it will come out of nowhere, and blast this stock up or down.
