Last week and I met with Kyle and Dr. DeBry. It is their understanding that the permitting side of site #3 is clear and that the only hold up has been obtaining the permit from the Florida Department of State (under which resides the Archeological office for the State). They have been told that the permit is due to be issued; when I don't know but could be any day. They are both very much looking forward to working at site #3. Dr. DeBry is totally focused on the archeological significance of what else will be found there (Heartland found some items that remain with the State I believe). I will say that with his advisory role and Kyle's determination to play by the rules and do this the 'right way' (vs. other treasure hunting companies) the relationship between SFRX and the State continues to strengthen in terms of the trust factor.
