This is where the lawsuits come in. The courts will decide if the govt can continue to sweep all profits to the treasury. I cannot imagine these lawsuits extending much past the net zero, one way or the other. My guess they will be settled in the FNMA shareholders favor, probably within the next 2-3 months.
