xanadu: A lot of folks may not want to pay for high-speed at first, but everyone I know (those that spend or intend on spending any time online) that has access to it eventually switched over. At first folks may say they don't want to spend the money but when they realize what they're missing out on w/ friends and family (sharing large files, pictures, video clips, etc.) due to the lack of bandwidth they have, coupled with the further realization that bottom line, "time is money", it soon becomes an easy decision to switch from dial-up to broadband.
I don't know one person that has regretted the decision.
Do you?
