Far better to keep retiring shares than an RS. RS's in pennyland almost always are the worst news for shareholders. David Foley is much smarter than that: he said in no uncertain terms that program of retiring shares is precisely to get investor attention as any investor would much much much rather see retiring shares and the automatic increase of the worth of the shares they hold, than to reduce the number of shares they hold. Retiring shares is far and away showing confidence in the developments and success of the company than simply doing an RS. RS's suck. Every one I've ever seen in pennyland hurt, or even killed forever that stock. Those of you who have been around long enough in pennyland I'm sure will agree. Let's not talk about RS. Let's keep encouraging share reduction by retirement.
