Geez, not to throw cold water on the new bull market. Who knows, maybe Nasdaq 2000 is right around the corner. However, today will make the 5th and arguably the 6th - in the case of the $COMPX - gap under this market. While one can make the case of a breakaway gap not going filled for a long time, if ever, 5 gaps cannot be sustained.
As traders, the trend is obviously up and I can come up with targets well in excess of 1500. However, what is the likelihood that a serious continuation can develop with 5 gaps underneath?
