That seems to be a bad assumption on my part...
Do you disagree with me that if congress supports a fight against and or doesn't fight for cannabis, then all the sitting politicians in CO and WA face major backlash from the majority of voters that legalized cannabis? Luckily the timing of it forces the gov to either let it be or attack it on or before jan 1 and the election isn't until nov. so that's 11 months where co and wa politicians in congress already must fight for cannabis or they could very likely lose their seat. Do you disagree with that?
The analogy applies of trying to tear a towel with no slits in it is exponentially more difficult than trying to tear one with even just the tiniest slit to break the barrier. Think about it.
