BOC1, I agree again amigo, this company thinks it can shake drop and roll away from its plague of problems. You cannot erase the past... Any company with intent to commit fraud or breach of agreements looks bad for all major companies that could possibly be interested. This scam just doesn't let up. I wonder who pulls the plugs from behind the scenes because everything that gets talked on this message board ends up in a VOIP-PAL press release buletin that they try to save face. Well hey I guess its good that these managers or insiders are paying attention on here.

BOC I've been quite reserved about any investment in this company, but this news today confirms Voip+Pal is in control of the patents, period. This has been an ongoing question since the announcement of the acquisition of Digifonica in the first place as there were never any details confirming CLOSURE of that agreement. It's one thing to come to an agreement, it's another to formally seal the deal, that which has now been completed.

I think it's ironic as well that the news on this has now come out after recent talk about it, but let's be honest, this has been chatter since December and is nothing new.

There's no question that the unaudited financials and lawsuit are alarming, however, from what I've researched the lawsuit does not impact the company and is negligible other than a bulletin board distraction. The company certainly has a "past" but at the time of these former events there were no patents and the company stock wasn't worth the paper it was printed on.

At the end of the day it comes down to: What proprietary goods does the company own, what are they worth, and who will pay what for them. Today's news clarifies that Voip=pal owns the patents, and that's all I need to know. Quite frankly I think the lawful intercept patent is worth much more by itself than today's stock price.
