#146232 RE: runandadd #146231

Given the BiB was developed at the Army's request to meet specific needs, combined with the reduction in military spending, and with the company successfully completed delivery and troop training for the initial order, I feel fairly confident that additional BiB contracts will follow. Sooner would be better than later.

One one hand the company is as close to commercial success of their products as they've ever been, and on the other hand the biggest hurdle continues to be funding and that hurdle is still in front of us.

I'm continuing to hold while I focus on my CS degree full time. I'll defer to Indy's judgement on when a follow on contract should be expected, but I would surely expect it sometime in 2013. If the Army is interested, hopefully they understand they can't put this decision off another year, or there might not be a company left to award the contract. Still, it's hard to believe they'd get this close and then just die from lack of further interest in the products. I believe additional contracts are coming, but how soon is the $64,000 question.
