Pikossa----The key here imo is that these patients have no other option----they will die---this is a fact there is no "may" involved----so when they say the procedure has very serious risks which "may" outweigh the benefits---that is certainly true because these patients are near death already-----and the patients will almost always vote to have the treatment if it means they will have a few more months with their families----remember isolated hepatic perfusion is very risky also and it has been performed for years----jmo
