This is certainly an excellent description as to what is going on, compared to other descriptions that are mostly hypothetical or simply wrong.

When Mr Westergard explained it to be he referred it as a Matrix, and was prior to Hexa2 deal.

Do you have any links to confirm this claim?

I don't know why he renamed it but he did, maybe he was inspired by hexa2 name.

I have seen nothing that was subequently renamed to the Honeycomb project.

If MDGC was a "scam" as you claim I believe it would be shut down a long time ago.

Sadly, most penny stock scams are never shut down by the SEC. The fact that a company hasn't been shut down is NOT proof that it is NOT a scam.

If this was easy everyone would be doing it.

City-wide WiFi networks (called Municipal Wi-Fi) have been around for many years although some have failed for various reasons.

Val Westergard is not an innovator in this field and, despite having a fun gif, MediaG3's "Honeycomb" concept is not unique and is not a "proprietary technology." High speed is achieved simply by having a lot of nodes in the wireless mesh network, just as shown in the gif.

Here are some more informational links you might find helpful.

Wireless mesh networks are effective in sharing Internet connectivity because the more nodes that are installed, the further the signal can travel. And the more nodes you have, the stronger and faster the Internet connection becomes for the user.

Look at the graphics included in the article: http://computer.howstuffworks.com/how-wireless-mesh-networks-work.htm

The numbers of cities and counties that are deploying wireless networks is phenomenal. According to Muniwireless.com, as of June 2006 247 cities and counties had deployed a network, were in the deployment stage or had issued an RFP, RFQ or RFI for a network deployment.

This blog about WiFi in general has stories going back to early 2001 including many muni WiFi stories: http://wifinetnews.com/ He discontinued the blog in part because cellular or mobile broadband has become much more important (than WiFi).
