is that Matt has decided to employ you after you were fired from SI... iHUB was a delight before you arrived and I believe it'll soon be a shamble at the rate things are evolving...

One last time, I was laid off from Infospace along with about 250 other people, mostly who had been with Go2Net (or so I'm told). To repeatedly say I was "fired" in front of people who weren't there and don't know the story is to repeatedly imply that I was discharged from my duties for something bad I did, which certainly isn't the case.

However, when a person who talks about chairmanship as if it's something for which people are normally compensated in one way or another is also the person saying my arrival killed the "delight" of the "job", well, I just can't take it too much to heart.

Humbly report, FG, I'm relatively new here -- arrived after HuBob took the job. I have since read quite a few posts from the past, and must humbly disagree with a number of things you have said, based on personal opinion formed from said reading.

iHub was far from a delight before HuBob arrived. In my humble opinion, it was a pump and dump heaven, a place I'd never be a part of, were it not for the likes of HuBob, who is, up to now, doing an outstanding job of turning this tanker on a dime.

On the other hand, I have read a great number of posts by you all over the net and, um, let me put it as delicately as I can -- if I were a shorter (can't, I trade in a SEP/IRA) -- I'd seriously consider shorting anything about which you post positively. In other words, I don't trust you as far as I can spit with my mouth taped shut!

So, yeah, no wonder to you this place was a "delight" before HuBob arrived. Seems there is now not a chance in the flame-filled-place that anyone -- including you -- will get away with stifling an open conversation, clearly a problem for you. Bummer. Makes my day!

F&G the board in question was run exactly the way I was told by Matt. I wish I could post his pm's to me from February. I won't take that liberty, so only time will tell if removing a basher-hating chairman makes the board more productive. I predict it will become a bashers paradise. JMO Joe
