Don't own a share, trying to keep things real. Mills have to run 24 hours if possible, very similar to a refinery or steel mill. If they run out of ore, they shut it down and wait until they have enough to run for any extended time.

For the 700 ton/day figure, it's from direct knowledge of the POW mill.
