Idk about short. All I can say is,,it happens to the best of them dude. Even the best of traders get in a rut and go on a losing streak. Keep positive it will turn around!
Whats happen to you is happen to me as well right now. Was up quite a bit but keep losing money on the stocks I'm in now. Now I got all money tied up in stocks that I'm down on. You don't lose money until you cash out tho.
Good question shanetavarus. Honestly, it is VERY difficult for most average people like the majority of us to short Pennies. Most trading venues out there do not even allow for such a practice (shorting pennies) and the very few that do require such a large amount of $ in ones account that most would not qualify to short Pennies.
The trick is to just get in these and once one has a gain take it and either wait for a dip to reenter or just move onto the next penny play. Don't feel bad about losing as we all do from time to time along with winning on many.
I am not sure which brokers will let you short pennies... Don't beat your self up losing some $$$ trading pennies. It's a jungle out there man, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose....
