If the big brokers do that they know a lot of peeps will go to smaller brokers who are more than happy to take their money.

Yes sir IIC. My broker at ST was telling me how they took a multi million dollar loss in 2011 allowing pennies to be traded. Not sure how that occured as we were arguing about something to do with my account and he just threw that out there "it was a weird exchange lol" but I got the feeling that they wanted pennies to go the way of the dinosaur also.

OTC & Pinks will always exist in one form or another, but it wont look anything like it does today in 5 years IMHO
