Do you use the Solver tool in Excel? It's limited and sometimes strange, but I have found it useful for testing, debugging, optimizing and "stress testing" AIM spreadsheet ideas and components. You need to be careful of getting to carried away with it though. Fantastic results often indicate "over tuning" and curve fitting.
