If Dave Davis is correct in stating the QCOM v Nokia lawsuit revolves around BREW, royalties would, at most, be trivial. Indeed, "specific performance" is an equitable remedy, available only when remedies at law, such as money damages, are inadequate.

Nokia will go to almost any lengths in its royalty crusade.

But I find it hard to believe they would fail to pay royalties to QCOM.

Maybe the next quarterly filings will provide the answer.
