Colin Powell KNEW GWB's claim of WMD in Iraq was weak at best but he went ahead with his speech before the UN General Assembly to urge other countries to join with the US in going to war against Iraq. Germany and France balked, and this country's conserv right wing went nuts!!! CP should never have gone along with GWB's game, but of course his son Michael did want that job at the FCC.

You are arguing because he has several pensions he did not have to sell out. Well he didn't have to sell out even if he had no pension. You seem to be setting a dollar price on sellouts.
The government clearly can not be trusted to tell the truth. It is populated by greedy self seeking men and women who are willing to sacrifice the commonweal for their own personal agendas.
CP is a sellout and both he and his family had a lot to gain by selling out. They wanted a seat at the table. The price was their honor.
