I think it is very reasonable and expected that if you know a particular person ordered something and you convey that to a company that the company would be willing to provide a status of the order. Nothing wrong with company being friendly and helpful. They are not disclosing social security numbers and credit card numbers. If they had not disclosed any info then they would be branded a scam with no real product to sell. Lighten up people. I admire the company for being concerned about every order no matter how small. It shows they are trying to do business the right way.
MSMY - Apparently you did not read the whole post, I said that I would not be ok with it. But I did says that it does not hurt the company. Should they have done it (again I will say it in big letters so that you can read it) NO I DON"T THINK THEY SHOULD HAVE.
