Great post. You've addressed several things which are in depth, while shedding light on both the bull and bear perspectives. Now I must ask, if the pendant is doing so well, why not ask the company to reveal some numbers in terms of how many they have sold?
For the most part, that sounds like one of those fluffy sounding PR's put out by the company. Problem is .... there's nothing factual to show the amount of revenue that has come in from the original Medipendant, due to this unproven increase in business.
I wouldn't expect the company to say anything different to an investor, would you? Apparently there were some major issues with the original Medipendant such as battery life, etc. Improvements to it were most likely done out of necessity, due to poor product performance. Everyone knows that a product that doesn't perform successfully will fail. Maybe the new product's performance will be better; however, without a good marketing strategy it will most likely not succeed in bringing in the amount of revenue that MDHI so badly needs.
As for MotorBooster .... you stated this:
I think most know that MotorBooster will have a very short lifespan, if it has one at all. Some consumers may not do their homework before buying it. Once they realize that the benefits are little, if any at all, they will never buy it again. So it's these first time buyers that MDHI is basing their hopes on, for a huge revenue stream. One time shot consumers that will be minimal, at the most. That is most likely why the "short term" phrase is used. Return customers will no doubt be minimal, if any. Therefore, an end to any revenue hopes. Perceptions can be twisted ... but not reality. Reality may not paint a pretty picture for MDHI, going forward.
If medipendent " is and always will be thier core buisness" where are the tv adds prommised for the last 5 months??? End of queation, end of story... Tired of reading all the <gonna happens>, <Take offs>, <big news comming> and still no clear way forward while still no financials a year later and no info given on dilluting share structure with the hire of a transfer agent that the company purposely changed to...
I appreciated your post and my idea is that maybe this MotorBooster addition is to get Joe out of a pinch. Since he lost out on MotorBooster....what was he going to do with the product? If MDHI is looking for a short term investment in MotorBooster, maybe they only plan on selling the stock stored in LA. Why would a company say they are in it short term? However, if MotorBooster is a huge success, then I am sure their outlook would change!
And yet the stock still sells off.....Down 40% in 2 weeks or thereabouts...... The investor "community" has spoken, any gain in PPS must be sold as you cannot invest longterm in a company that drops the ball like a greased pig. the MediPendant commercials were "supposed" to be back on months ago, this excuse of reshooting a 20 second spot should take no more than a half a day in the studio with 100 "takes". We are talking about 20 seconds here......not a reshoot of the entire commercial. Something smells fishy down here in stinky pinky land, and the stench is wafting from the corporate office of MDHI.......in my opinion. While no products are being sold, mgmt gets their fat checks monthly and shareholders are left in the dark continuously. the MGMT team is incompetent as far as I can tell, a bunch of smoke.....lotsa mirrors, but no fire. DELINQUENT financials for over a year and an UNKNOWN share structure, and the company wonders why it is a sub-penny stock........PLEEEEEZE
PS: The MotorBooster Pill is a WORTHLESS PRODUCT, if it does generate any sales, it will be on the backs of the misinformed about how magic gas pills can actually "save" you money. the product IS a COMPLETE JOKE.
