How can someone who has surrendered all shares before the date the Form 15 is filed still be considered a shareholder for determining the number of shareholders as of that date?

Not that it matters a great deal. There are lots and lots of names where there is not a "0". But, there are quite a few "0"s.

The fact that I may have owned a GM cert at one time means I'm counted as a shareholder for Form 15 purposes even after I've sold/surrendered?

Am I missing something? It just doesn't add up (so to speak). ... eom
