I don't think he is bashing the country, I think he pointing out how lucky we really are sitting at our computers in the USA with the 55 inch flatscreen TV after a day at work......the reality is few Americas truly understand cultural differences and life in other countries! I am in this like you and hope the best for BFHJ...I agree as long as they have brick and mortar parlors with people in them, I am happy!
