US WCDMA/CDMA is not on the same frequency as that used for the test (1700mhz, however, it seems to me that in the new WCDMA environments like the upgrades that Cingular is performing on the UMTS networks that ATT deployed in a few regions, I can see little reason why this same technology could not be deployed.
