lickily, I highly doubt that the recording features will be above 56 kbps or so i.e. "FM quality" but I'll bet that they might also incorporate a watermark to prevent sharing. This is just too obvious an application for the OEMs to have ignored IMO.

"Digital radio's crystal clear quality..."--this makes the product viability that much more appealing, IMO.

I really don't see them stopping anything as long as it is used for personal use.

There are a lot of songs I like but don't know the artist or title...but this buffer/delay, which allows to download after previewing is awesome. This will only add to the growing market for HDD jukeboxes and MP3 players.

It's a digital world, and hopefully an e.Digital one !

lickily - I do find the only threat of a lawsuit to this 5 minute buffer recorder rather funny in a way. The only possible law suit would be from digital content which would mean it would have to come from a digital radio recording, and guess what codec Sirus Satellite Radio uses and even XM Satellite was using until recently??? The Lucent PAC codec, sound familiar??? Its basically the same ePAC codec that got EDIG rolling just about 3 years ago. It is rather funny this thing could show up again, this time though not as a help, but rather a possible thorn.
