I currently hold shares in another stock that was locked in early July. I believe Sun also has some of that SFI*.
Recently, as part of a PR released by the company concerning the lock, and when it may be lifted, the CEO stated "We have no way of knowing when or if that will happen"

That's probably the standard in cases like this, regardless of reason it got locked
