I contacted the Nyxio last week to check out the Venture MMV in person because I live near their HQ. They have a location that currently does not include a public retail showroom, which is not a surprise since they are selling products online. They did say I can stop in and advised that an upgrade to the product that I'm shopping for is coming soon. I'm going to wait a few weeks to preview that model when time permits. The salesperson did email detailed specs on all of their products.
Between this call, the email and the products listed on the Duck store website, I am convinced the company is real. Obviously they are a small start up that is trying to work their way into a marketplace that is dominated by large corps.
