that means that you can only sell covered calls on top of existing postions and buy them back if you want at a lower/higher price than you sold them.

if you can't buy any calls, you most likey can not sell naked puts either or buy puts. what you want to do is "buy to open" if you want to be "long" an option. doesn't look like you have that set up for your account.

IDO, The "Buy" price for that option, DAQGE, is now .10. Whe "bid" is .05. You need to hit the "Buy to Open" option and enter .10 as your price. If you wanted 10 Call options, it would cost you $100 plus commissions.
