Hi Bernie I am a true Aim investor in that I do buy for the long haul. I have owned conagra for over 8 years and ibm since 1989. Of course it was only 3 shares through dividend reinvestment, but went to 12 shares after the 2 splits in the 90's. So my little 164.00 investment is now worth lets see 12 * 81.65 uh about 960 so that is a 800 dollar gain. Oh i have bought more ibm along the way and have a total of 88 shares. I also have 100 intel and 200 amd which i bought in 2001. My ConAgra is like ibm was given 2 shares in 1989 and have bought 93 my self. CAG dividend pays the IRA annual fee and then some. I will sell only when aim btb says to and buy only when AIM BTB says to or when I have new money to add to the IRA. I have only 16 years until retirement and I want to grow this money as careful as possible. I know too much high tech but that is what I know best since I am a computer programmer (mainframe mini micro done them all). I would like a true AIM BTB software package that will allow for multiple portfolios of multiple stocks and do all the transaction bookeeping (I know I am asking for a lot here). I do have a 401K that gets money every month and company match once a year. Oh well enough ranting and raving I do enjoy all the posts I read here even about someones new package.
Reap the Great Harvest (and some little ones too) to all.
