Larry Ellison has made a number of purchases that have worked out quite well. PeopleSoft. JD Edwards. DEC Rdb. Shareholders have a certain level of confidence in that Oracle knows what it is doing in acquisitions based on their past successful transactions. And what we're seeing in earnings reports and news reports is that their ability to successfully integrate companies in translates to the bottom line.
