There has not been any good news since DOW 7,000. Nothing has changed, its not about the news, its how the market absorbs them (in addition to how much worthless cash is thrown at it).
The news are irrelevant. If they were, we would be at DOW 8,000 today, but we ain't.
Buy low sell high | short high cover low, regardless of what you think.
From 4/28/2010, people thought it was the top, the market sold off all the way to 7/07/2010, from 11,250 to 9,600.
There are no market tops/bottoms, time is the only commanding commodity.
