You have made your points over and over, and over again!

Put your trunk of worry beads in the closet, until we see what happens.

Hardball. I tend to agree with you on this one .... that it was bad timing and the haircut could have been avoided. But heck, what do I know what's going on inside that boardroom. I imagine they had their reasons, though I would like to have had more elaboration. Yeah, "inquiring minds have got to know", and they're just not going to tell everything that they figure I don't need to know. Actually, tuesday's $17 or todays $14 doesn't much matter as the final bucks will come with the nok results, inspite of or because of Howard or Bill.
I do disagree with you on this one point. "Now if we lose, Merritt will start out with the albatross of the loss around his neck and pretty much his neck alone (departed scapegoats are never as satisfying)." If we lose, who cares who the heck gets the ole dead albatross. Everybody will be gone anyway. chuckle, chuckle!! I'm a movin on for tomorrow. Should be exciting. ... nic

Hardball:"I think that the timing was AWFUL." for someone that likes to play "hardball" and goes stright to the "bottom line" you sure like to play it safe & sound.

IMO when they have a Job To Do, just Do It. Don't give me "let's" waite and see shii. That is not going to the "bottom line."

It's done get over it. You don't think it's right, tough shii, it's done.
