Not sure what you mean by making things complex. It's not complex at all, I just don't use the browser. End of story.
Looking at the market share that IE continues to lose, apparently there are many other people that choose to not use it either. There was a time when no other browser even came close to IE in popularity but those days are long gone now.
It's all a matter of personal preference when choosing a browser and IE isn't on my list.
