Paul A, Re: All do respect here but you guys/gals read too much into these things.. PPT, Corruption, Criminals, etc etc.. I guess the thing is that it works. Wether virtual, phantom or taken to extreme, doesn't matter to me, since I believe all the way. :-)russ

Paul, The PPT is real. The PPT is as much of the market as a FOMC meeting, INTC's next earnings report or major support/resistance lines. Once you recognize it you can trade around it like any other market moving event or indicator. In my opinion, the identification and posting that they are active is valuable information.

Paul A I agree. Every other day it's "the PPT just jumped in and saved this thing", "looks like the PPT won't come in until the lows", the PPT changes sides every damn day apparently. All this discussion about it and where has it gotten us, absolutely nowhere, the market's been up, it's been down, and now no one knows where it's going because no one knows if the PPT is going to be intervening or not. Real useful info trying to predict something so random.
