db24. The shareholder meeting was the last straw for me. Were you there? Even past shareholder meetings(not to mention the conference calls) have been so ill prepared its no wonder these guys continue to fail.

If they can't get it up for this steadfast, loyal, forgiving group of "benevolent barracudas", then how intense do you think they are every day when they go to work??(tech folks excluded here)

db: Probably the two biggest/most recent management errors were (1)announcing the 2.6 mm revenue guidance without a firm order and (2) ordering $2 mm of Treo 15's that some have said were tied to the order that would have fulfilled the 2.6 mm revenue estimate. You are probably correct that everything else was caused by circumstances, to one degree or another, beyond their control.

To their credit they have designed some great products and demonstrated an ability to get them READY for market in surprisingly short timeframes. The IFE unit as well should be very interesting. I was verry encouraged by the poster who described his recent Virgin Atlantic experience.

Have a nice evening.

db24...Of course you are right in posing the questions...

But, it would be useless to ask those stressed out and venting their spleen on these boards, to look at issues objectively...

Almost all of this will be meaningless in a quarter or two. And, when Professor Christensen writes his sequal to "Innovator's Dilemma", he most certainly will have a chapter or two about EDIG in it...
