#66981 RE: Shengli #66976

Tier A stocks in our space: Here are 3 lists of "Tier A" or "safe stocks" to own in 2011 (and beyond?) I have compiled from recent posts on this board :

1)DLouis:
aln, spu, cmfo, gfre, valv, liwa, cnyd, deer, watg, yuii, ccme

2) RatoBlanco:
CCME, CHRM, EDS, YONG, CNTF, XIN, CCCL, JADE

3) Rames:
WATG CAST CHRM CCME SIHI YONG HOGS CAAS
----PUDA SORL CXDC GFRE CBPO

It all of course depends on which criteria/preferences a person is using to define "quality" or "safe" stocks. Rato's article gives a review of criteria that I find excellent but there may be more depending on personal preferences. Quality is obviuosly a "gray" word.

My own list of "Tier A" CGS stocks for 2011 is:

CCME, YONG, UTA, CCCL, TRIT, CHBT, TSTC (debatable but I trust Bank of Beijing's $40MM LOC and I don't see their high A/R nor recent secondary as a red flag, again it's a very personal preference imo).
