That line would seem to suggest different layouts, but someone could also take it to mean they are simply proposing a philosophy. Like I said in a previous post, different layouts don't just require a staff of engineers for one project, but also for the entire roadmap of follow-on products, steppings, and process changes. It's a lot for AMD to have separate layouts for Athlon, Opteron, Turion, and Sempron. I have good reason to claim that many of the above segments share the same layouts.
