CCME - I was told by a hedge fund manager who had spoken with the trader they were using that the buyback was ready to go the Tuesday after the announcement. If you remember, we cratered the next day, Wednesday, that's when we broached 8.00 for the second time.
Maybe my information wasn't reliable--there's an excellent chance given all the BS that goes around. However, it seems that these chinese companies always talk but never deliver. With the exception of SIAF, JST, TPI, and YZC, they will never give us anything back except talk.
I wouldn't be surprised if CHBT hasn't bought a single share by now. That's a serious serious serious problem to the thesis, because it makes the argument "you're not a real shareholder here" (the strongest anti-CGS argument IMO) more compelling.
