MDGC's claim: "Dr. Peterson holds an Associates Degree in Science & Engineering and a Ph.D. in Natural Philosophy from Golden State College now known as Stanford University."

However, an Associate's Degree is an undergraduate academic degree awarded by community colleges, junior colleges, technical colleges, and bachelor's degree-granting colleges and universities upon completion of a course of study usually lasting two years.

In the United States and, uncommonly, in Canada, an associate's degree is equivalent to the first two years of a four-year college or university degree. It is the lowest in the hierarchy of post-secondary academic degrees offered in these countries.

Associate's degrees are condidered general education and degress are not granted in specific fields such as "Science & Engineering" as MDGC claimed in its PR.

Surprisingly MDGC also claims that Peterson apparently jumped from a 2-year general education degeree Associate's degree to a Ph.D. from an unknown institution named "Golden State College," which they falsely claim became "Stanford University."
