Lasater was one of the original investors in DAC. He is not involved with the company at all. He is only permitted to sell 1% of outstanding shares, or an average of the last 4 weeks daily trading volume in a 90 day period. Prior to the recent surge in volume this was around 60,000 shares he could sell every 90 days.
Collins says he talks to Dan every now and then, and thinks the only reason he is selling is because he has so many shares that it could take years to sell off his whole position.
No reason for concern, another nice volume day today. There were sizeable bids all day long, I'm looking forward to seeing which fund has been accumulating.
