when you buy shares you ultimately have a certificate somwhere....normally your broker holds them...you can request your stock certificate from them if you want....that would be yer best bet in a case like this because that means they are in your hand and DEF come monday...you should still have them


as far as how the MM's get their certificate...its probably mailed directly to them...im not sure about those MM's
