Thanks. I think I get it now. She stopped short of issuing her ruling because the litigants (WMI and JPMC) told her they were going to settle the issue and include it in the GSA. That makes a lot of sense. It also explains why her opinion is being held in abayance, because the GSA is not a done deal, and if it gets unraveled she may well have to issue it after all.
uzual...didn't the judge not rule on the money back some time ago when the FDIC said in some many words that they had the power to intercept the money if it went to WMI ?
Im not sure on the date of the omnibus but, I am sure she was about to rule on the SJ and it was Rosen that suggested she wait. (IM Sure of that). I remember we all couldnt believe it and discussed it on the board. Something to do with the FDIC. I wish i had time to go back and listen to it. Maybe tonight.
