And I certainly agree with you that the final verdict on the game is still pending.

However, my criticisms are about some of the obviously BAD PLAYS DURING the game under the leadership of the coach and some players. It seems to me we have some regretable plays, a bad coach, and some incompetent players. These things are evident from the game and results to date, to continue your analogy.

We don't need to know the end result of the entire game to realize that the game could have been over in the first quarter, rather than finding ourselves in a very bloody overtime, with fractures and pains that will last for a long time after the game is finally over.
