Or this: a large shareholder has read the last PR and doesn't see much of a future in what the company has stated for its next incarnation. Perhaps that shareholder, like many of us, sees value in LTC and that's why they bought the shares in the first place. Maybe they're not too impressed with the prospects of their current CTGI shares having much LTC value in the future. Maybe they're hoping to buy LTC if it ever is spun off and for sale as a stand-alone company.

Or maybe.....(add your own guess here, cause frankly folks, that's all we got)

Well Ninja.

You are partly right, sold 110000 yesterday, as I needed the funds badly, sold as low as 5.2 cent, do however intent to buy back in the next month or so, so partly rigth however not for the reasons outlined by you, quite hard to sell them even at this level, not a lot of buyers until we get some more clarification about the share conversion.

Ninja it would appear share conversion and r/s possibilities will be holding ctgi back based on capital gains post and I would imagine there will be many others to come. Yet I also believe your tax loss situation is also the reason on the current sales and last but not least the sale of stock by the company to keep the lights on...

All good reasons for current downward movement of the stock.

All these things can be reversed by insider purchases and more clarification on the progress and purpose of ctgi by management.

Double Paradox

I'm a bit confused by this tax selling scenario. Wouldn't the seller have "tax free" profit up until the price he originally bought the shares anyway? Aftr that, he would end up paying taxes whether he had bought and resold or not. While the mechanics of how the tax laws work, wouldn't the end result be the same with the increased risk (however unlikely) that share price would climb during the 30 day waiting period? I guess the upside potentia is that the price could go down during the 30 days and the seller could then repurchase at a lower price without be subject to the wash-rule.

Maybe I'm not understaning the whole picture here.

"CTGI will be sitting in the basement for at least 30 days",
is that 30 trading days? We are already in sub-basement. What is your take after 30 days ?
