I was watching a show about how they get gold out of the veins and it was pretty interesting. I know there are a lot of individuals in the poorer countries of the world that use mercury to separate the gold. I assume that the major companies aren't doing this though... right? If so I imagine the liability for their employees would be massive.

Gold is measured using the Troy ounce , equals 31.10 grams.

I use this site , ppb and ppm can be confusing .
