I like this theory a lot. Dahlman has worked with Navios, Diana, DryShips, etc., as well as Kansas City Southern. So, I could certainly see why SRSR picked Dahlman, if they were doing a deal with an overseas interest.
Pretty small minded in my view to think the issue is coming up with funding to do more drilling. Think bigger. You think SRSR could broker its own offtake deal? Get real. Why not hire an expert at brokering deals like Dahlman?
I think a comparison of the supply chain running from the jungles near the Brazilian border to Asia, with one that runs from Canada to Asia, that includes one direct rail link, and one direct boat ride... might, in itself, be fairly convincing. Probably couldn't have a better team on board, to help SRSR make that case, than the one they have.
